diamond eves to single out certain life
with the unholy strength
to become a planet

writhing between the teeth of the foam
and the froth of the mouth
lips pressing on fur
the fur in the cross
writing on the coma stricken
sky light, ice shine
on melded stone
faces receive the honor
thin and silver shine the beings
with reflections taller than trees
all tree life walk in slowness
and life-absorbing time
to climb and soak in the blood of the sky
fire envelopes the stone faces
and licks savagely at the unburnable surface

past when the elements sought a netherworld
in the galaxies of death
old, needless, to be again
yet the sparks of the kinetic infinite
generous nature shine rhythmically forth

and deeper than all earth
bloodlike beneath and beyond
under the air
between the breathable molecules
under the sun and its rays
dimensional in mass
and in sound, and in flame
amongst the disturbance of air
in the heat and freeze
in lungless air, to be felt
by the breath of the one
whose design allows for disease
